On the HS-2, playback synchronization with timecode can be realized with the SY-1. For recording and playback, the SY-2 is synchronized with SMPTE timecode input through the TIMECODE IN connector on the SY-2, or with its built-in timecode generator – “Master Timecode” hereafter. The SY-2 also supports RS-422 control interface.
